Please email your account opening requirements and contact details to cs@signald.com.hk. Our customer service team will contact you during business hours. Before opening an account, please have your personal ID and a Hong Kong bank account in your name ready.
Schedule Witness
After our customer service team contacts you, we will schedule an appointment at your Xinyoudao Securities office. You will complete the account opening process by signing the required documents in the presence of our staff. Please bring your ID and proof of address.
If you are unable to visit the Signal D Securities office in person, you may arrange for a witness (e.g., an attorney, CPA, or notary public). The witness must sign and stamp both the account application form and copies of your identification documents. Please submit copies of the witness's ID, professional certification (e.g., bar admission), and name card with contact information.
Proof of Address: Documents such as utility bills (water, electricity, gas) issued within the last three months or a personal Hong Kong bank statement. If your mainland China address matches the one on your ID card, proof of address is not required.
Sign for documents
If the client cannot visit in person, please mail all account opening documents and witness details to Xinyoudao Securities' office. Include either: (1) a cheque for no less than 10, 000 HKD drawn on the client's own-name account at a local Hong Kong bank; or (2) proof of transfer of no less than 10, 000 HKD from the client's own-name account at a Hong Kong bank to Xinyoudao Securities, to complete bank account verification.
Risk Disclosure
Once your account documents are received, relevant staff will conduct a risk assessment and provide specific risk disclosures in accordance with the regulations of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission.
Complete account opening
Licensed securities practitioners in Hong Kong will review and confirm that customers meet the account opening requirements. The account opening process will be completed within three business days. Once approved, we will email you a confirmation letter, your account number, and the initial login password for the trading platform.
